Just purchased a BX23 at Messick's in Elizabethtown PA.
$14,900 for the BX23 and another $1500 for the 54" mid-mount mower.
I was happy with that quote. I have seen Messick's respond to other's messages here asking them to stop by for better prices then they talked about.
The bad thing is that they said their shop was about a week behind for preparation. At least six BX23's sitting there.
So I have to wait a week for delivery. The good thing is that the salesman gave me the manual on my request so that I have the chance to really read it before the machine arrives.

Congratulations on your new tractor. I am 95% certain that I will be ordering a BX23 tomorrow here in Northern Virginia, but without the MMM. My quote was higher than yours -- $15,700 -- but I feel that the price is fair for this area. Are you getting any added implements or accessories beyond the FEL and the BH in the $14,900 deal?

Nothing extra thrown in for the $14,900. When I walked in I was expecting the price to be a good bit higher. So when the salesman wrote down the price on his card, my checkbook leaped out of my pocket. Hard to bargain after that happens.

I have been shopping for a BX23 here in Michigan. The best deal so far is $16,100. Two other dealers here in Michigan want $17,800 and $17,100. How can I get a deal similar to the $14,900? ....

JLeMarbe... you do have to shop to find a price that good... it takes a hungry dealer to chop the price that low.
It might make more sense to spend an extra few hundred closer to home than it would to buy cheaper and spend a buck per mile, or more, getting it home.

I just bought a BX23. I was not planning on buying, but the price and trade in price for two of my machines were great!
$14900 for the BX23, 1800 for the 60 inch Mid mount mower
"Hey GREEN MACHINE" I need a 42 inch cutter, can you get it shipped to Wisconsin reasonably? ....
